The painting depicts hands emerging from the cosmic expanse on both sides. These hands symbolize the Soul’s entry into the game of the material dimension, where it experiences separation. This sense of separateness is primarily lived out through the ego — the part that perceives itself as distinct from the vast Universe. Yet, even though these hands appear separate, we come to understand that they are, in truth, one and the same.
 
At the center of the composition is an energetic cluster, a precursor to karmic seeds, representing cause-and-effect connections and the subtle laws of the Universe. The tree symbolizes lineage, beginnings and endings, as well as belonging — the connection the Soul manifests in each lifetime.
